If I had seen this in the crazy two weeks after giving birth when I couldn’t stop crying and my hormones were out of whack, I would have cried my eyes out.
Those two first weeks of postpartum are crazy people. Seriously. Baby blues can hit you hard. You’ll think you’ll never be yourself again, doubt your abilities as a mother, think the entire word will never be the same again, and think you’ve resigned your life to the whims of a screaming poop machine. Then one day it will stop. The hormones will subside and you will be yourself again. Promise. Or as I tell my son, I piranha-romise.
